Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Technology Delivery Manager in Pasadena to bridge Software Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and PMO, owning release management, deployment execution, and governance across enterprise software environments.

In this hybrid Pasadena role, you will lead end-to-end release lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional planning, and ensure secure, reliable production releases with a strong focus on metrics like DORA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps Operations, Technical Program Management, or Software Delivery.
• Experience managing complex, multi-environment software release processes in CI/CD environments.
• Strong understanding of GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, version control systems, and deployment workflows.
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Ability to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and influence technical teams without direct authority.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues and risks for business and executive audiences.
• Technical aptitude to engage with engineers, understand build pipelines, review scripts, and support deployment operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end software release lifecycles, from planning and dependency management through deployment, validation, and post-release support
• Drive release planning, roadmap alignment, and coordination across multiple engineering teams
• Manage centralized release schedules, deployment readiness reviews, CAB processes, and go/no-go decision meetings
• Partner with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure CI/CD pipeline health, environment readiness, and deployment success
• Coordinate incident response, rollback strategies, and contingency planning during production deployment events
• Track and improve key delivery metrics, including DORA performance indicators (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, Change Failure Rate, and MTTR)
• Identify operational bottlenecks and improve developer experience across the software delivery lifecycle
• Provide clear reporting and visibility into release health, risks, and delivery performance for executive stakeholders

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Development Operations, this role serves as the bridge between Software Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and PMO teams. The Technology Delivery Manager owns release management, deployment execution, operational governance, and delivery health across enterprise software environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and low-risk production releases.

This is a fulltime role on salary + benefits for $140k-$180k/year. This role is hybrid in Pasadena 4x per week (NO FLEX).

What You'll Do:

• Own end-to-end software release lifecycles, from planning and dependency management through deployment, validation, and post-release support
