Job summary

Berkley Accident and Health, based in West Hartford, CT, seeks a Vice President of Technology & Data Solutions to lead technology platforms, data capabilities, and reporting. The role combines leadership, vendor management, data strategy, and operational oversight to align technology investments with business priorities.

Based in our West Hartford office with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in management, implementation and execution of various IT projects.
• Strong IT and data infrastructure capabilities.
• Familiarity with David Young System/Connexure, Salesforce or other database management systems.
• Able to work with the IT management staff, suppliers, developers and daily IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners, ensuring accountability and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to evaluate enhancements and emerging tech solutions.
• Partner with operations to identify AI and automation initiatives.
• Oversee data quality, database management and information architecture.
• Enhance reporting capabilities supporting underwriting, sales, claims, finance and leadership.
• Interface with BTS on corporate technology initiatives.
• Ensure reliable technology tools and support for ~225 employees.
