Job Description

Technology – Part Time Computer Tech < 20 hrs per week

Description Qualifications:

• Exhibit interest in technology career path or currently enrolled/graduated from college level technology program
• Ability to follow instructions and perform routine maintenance and repair on computing devices and peripherals.
• Basic problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor and work well with others as a team.
• Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Reports to: Technology Director

Performance Objective:

To perform maintenance and repairs for Chromebook and PC-based hardware, software and peripherals including, but not limited to desktops, chromebooks, laptops, and printers.

Requirements:

• Troubleshoot and repair chromebook and PC-based hardware and software, and other similar technology-based equipment.
• Provide assistance with hardware, software, and implementation needs within district.
• Assist in cabling installation indoor/outdoor for connecting technology equipment
• Maintain and update technology-related work orders which may include both hardware and software troubleshooting, documenting all work done
• Any other technology tasks assigned by Technology Director.
