Job summary

King & Spalding is seeking a Technology Communications Specialist to lead all technology messaging across the Practice Enablement team in Atlanta. This role writes newsletters, shapes content strategy, and crafts communications for project milestones and change announcements.

You will develop multimedia content, scripts for training videos, and templates that uphold brand standards. Collaboration with IT leadership and subject matter experts is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years in corporate or internal communications.
• Experience in a legal, professional services, or complex enterprise environment preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to prioritize essential information.
• Light design skills to create templates, graphics, and visuals.
• Experience managing editorial calendars and multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly technology newsletter from planning to distribution and analysis.
• Maintain the department editorial calendar aligned with milestones and releases.
• Design newsletter templates and visual assets for readability and engagement.
• Write and edit technology communications for firm-wide audiences and leadership.
• Develop communications strategies for technology initiatives with project teams.
• Adapt tone for diverse audiences across practice groups and services.
• Support team with drafting, editing, and strategic advice.
