The Business Change Analyst serves as a key member of the Practice Enablement team, operating at the intersection of business analysis, change management, and technology communications. This person is responsible for partnering with project teams and Product Owners to evaluate organizational impact and design and execute change management and communications strategies that drive successful adoption of the Firm's technology portfolio. The Business Change Analyst engages with users across all job roles and functions throughout the Firm to understand the human impact of technology change, gather feedback on the effectiveness of change efforts, and serve as the voice of the customer to department leadership. This role is central to the Practice Enablement team's mission of fostering a culture of innovation and ensuring that technology solutions meet the needs of the professionals they serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with project teams and Product Owners to ensure technology introductions are planned and executed with a clear understanding of their impact on Firm personnel.
  • Engage with users across all job roles and functions to understand change impact, gather feedback, and surface insights that inform project and change management decisions.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to department leadership, synthesizing user perspectives and feedback into actionable recommendations.
  • Assess the change impact of technology initiatives on the Firm and its employees, identifying affected stakeholder groups and potential adoption risks.
  • Design and execute comprehensive change management plans that encompass stakeholder engagement, training, and communications strategies tailored to each initiative.
  • Handle multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously, exercising sound judgment and maintaining high standards under pressure.
  • Comply with project management methodologies and processes and leverage related tools in support of project team objectives.
  • Mentor and share best practices with colleagues in support of the department's overall capability development.
Business Analysis Responsibilities
  • Participate as an embedded member of project teams, contributing to requirements gathering alongside Project Managers and subject matter experts.
  • Leverage a common methodology to document user requirements and current business processes to inform technology solution design and delivery.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure that user needs and feedback are clearly represented in product decisions and enhancement prioritization.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with user communities across the Firm to surface issues, communicate project progress, and incorporate feedback into solution design.
  • Act as a product advocate for assigned technology solutions, ensuring the user perspective is present at every stage of the product lifecycle.
Change Management Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured change impact assessments for technology initiatives, evaluating scope, scale, and risk to affected employee populations.
  • Develop and implement change management plans that address awareness, understanding, adoption, and reinforcement across stakeholder groups.
  • Design and facilitate engagement activities including focus groups, surveys, pilot programs, and feedback sessions to support adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure change management activities are integrated into project plans and timelines from initiation through post-launch.
  • Monitor and evaluate adoption metrics and satisfaction with technology solutions, reporting findings to the Director of Practice Enablement and recommending adjustments as needed.
Communications & Learning Responsibilities
  • Draft clear, professional email communications and announcements to inform and educate Firm personnel about technology updates, best practices, and available resources.
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development team and product champions to design and drive innovative programs — including webinars, tutorials, guides, and other formats — that build effective adoption of the Firm's technology portfolio.
  • Contribute to the Firm's technology communications program, including newsletters, security alerts, operational updates, and in-person engagement at practice group and office meetings.
  • Support the Technology Influencers program by facilitating engagement opportunities, coordinating pilots and focus groups, and helping to amplify technology messaging across the Firm.
  • Ensure that technology communications and learning programs are consistent with and complementary to broader Professional Development and HR learning initiatives.
