Job summary

Irvington Public Schools is seeking a Technology Coach to support district-wide teaching and learning. The role focuses on onboarding new teachers, delivering training on GSuite for Education, distance learning protocols, PowerSchool, OnCourse, and various interactive whiteboarding tools.

The ideal candidate will have NJ Teacher Certification and a strong background in educational technology, plus familiarity with state data reporting and security best practices.

Qualifications

• NJ Teacher Certification required.
• 3+ years of classroom experience.
• Knowledge of state data reporting.
• Knowledge of PowerSchool Scheduler.
• Master's in Educational Technology preferred.
• Google Educator Level 1 or Level 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• New teacher setup.
• Training in GSuite for Education, distance learning protocols, Powerschool, Oncourse, interactive whiteboarding software, all curriculum programs, and network security training.
• Keep daily logs of training and support activities.

Software

• Clever, Powerschool, Collage, Pearson bridge, GSuite for Education, password resets, phishing, hacking, integration between programs, all curriculum programs, network security checks, all updates.

Hardware

• Repairing Chromebooks (keyboards, trackpads, and LCDs), managing Chromebook org, teacher desktops, Wifi connectivity, repairing Interactive boards

Beginning of the year, Mid-year, End of year Protocols

Testing

• state-mandated testing and State Reporting
• Keep current with the latest and greatest software and technologies
• Keep daily logs of Training and Support Activities

Program Duration: 2026-2027

Hours: 8:00am 3:00pm

Salary: As per collective bargaining agreement (Pending Availability of Funds)
