Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Technology Business Process Analyst in Charlotte, NC, onsite. This contract role focuses on Application Management within the Application Infrastructure Technology (AIT), driving lifecycle governance for registered apps and publishing clear RACI charts.

You will map current and future state processes, document ownership, and identify automation opportunities while partnering with managers and engineers to drive adoption and improved decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in process documentation, technical writing, or business process analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Proficient in documenting workflows using Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Experience creating clear, structured process documentation and workflow diagrams.

Technology Business Process Analyst

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

This position is centered on Application Management within the Application Infrastructure Technology (AIT) for registered applications. The role involves managing the lifecycle and requirements of these applications to maintain compliance with established policies and standards. The objective is to review current workflows, develop up-to-date documentation and process charts for a central repository, and publish clear RACI charts.

Key Responsibilities

• Document current and future state process maps to standardize and maintain end-to-end application management workflows and procedures.
• Evaluate existing workflow processes to ensure clarity, completeness, and scalability across application governance and identify gaps.
• Define and clearly document roles, responsibilities, and ownership across application management activities.
• Explore automation opportunities for workflows.
• Partner with Application Managers, engineering teams, and service management stakeholders to drive process adoption.
• Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple systems to identify trends for workflows.
• Process data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with data analysts to align reporting, dashboards, and risk analysis outputs.
• Support audit activities by ensuring processes are properly documented and governance standards are met.
• Act as a key influencer to drive alignment and adoption of process improvements across teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in process documentation, technical writing, or business process analysis.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills and expertise in tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Tableau for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong documentation skills using visual mapping methods and document repositories like Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Experience creating clear, structured process documentation and workflow diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Application governance and lifecycle management, including policies, standards, processes, and systems.
• A good understanding of Risk frameworks.
• Familiarity with patch management and remediation workflows.
• Experience supporting audits or working within risk/compliance frameworks.
• Background working in technology, infrastructure, or engineering organizations.
• Experience partnering with data analytics teams or working with dashboards and reporting tools.
• Experience operating in environments undergoing transformation or process optimization efforts.
