Northern Trust Corp. is seeking a Technology Analyst for a 27-month development program in Chicago, IL. You will rotate through Data Science and Analytics teams, gaining hands-on experience on real projects while building a foundation for your career in financial technology.

Participants join an integrated engineering culture with mentors, monthly speaker series, and numerous development opportunities, preparing you for leadership roles in tech at Northern Trust.

WHO YOU ARE

You are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related major at an accredited college/university with an expected graduation date of June 2027. You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. You have good verbal and written communication skills. You are highly motivated and tenacious. You have proven analytical and problem-solution skills through coursework, projects, and or previous internship experience. Experience learning programming languages and technology tools (examples include Java, Python, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Github).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Technology Analyst at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to spend 27 months working with three different teams contributing to meaningful projects, developing relevant skills to solidify the foundation for your career while joining our inclusive and relational culture. A recruiter will work with you to determine the best organizational placement given your interests, skill set and relevant experience. Technology Analysts are fully integrated into engineering and technology teams, contributing to real financial solutions. Analysts gain an inside look into the innovative technologies, practices, and business solutions that power a frontrunner in financial services.

Analyst Development Program

• Rotate through 3 different Technology teams aligned to Data Science or Analytics

What You'll Gain

• Gain hands-on experience transforming data into actionable insights while working alongside experienced data professionals, developing skills in data engineering, analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence

Salary Range

Salary is $90,000 USD per year. Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
