Job summary

Shenendehowa Central School District is seeking a Technology Aide for High School East. The role involves 3 hours per day, 10 months per year, providing hands-on technical assistance in manufacturing and construction classrooms and supporting students with projects under teacher guidance.

Responsibilities include supervising a safe learning environment, modeling proper use of technology, and assisting with classroom work. Prior experience in manufacturing or home construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical assistance in manufacturing or construction classrooms.
• Ability to model appropriate skills and use of technology equipment.
• Strong ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical assistance in the manufacturing and construction classrooms.
• Support students during classroom projects and activities.
• Assist in supervising and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Model appropriate skills and use of technology equipment.
• Assist with classroom work under teacher direction; duties may vary throughout the year.
• Preferred experience with manufacturing and/or home construction.
