Waveguide in Cambridge, MA seeks a Technology Advocate to repair, maintain, upgrade, and install AV equipment for clients. You will coordinate conference guests and services for multipurpose rooms, troubleshoot equipment, and assist clients with conducting meetings in conference spaces.

Responsibilities include managing events, ensuring room readiness, and overseeing AV gear updates. Strong knowledge of AV concepts and provisioning of remote participation tech are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV equipment setup, maintenance and upgrades.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve AV/IT issues across conference spaces.
• Familiarity with conference room IT services and event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, upgrades and installs AV equipment for clients.
• Coordinates conference guests and services for multipurpose rooms.
• Troubleshoots equipment and assists clients during meetings.
• Manages ITSM requests and daily communications related to events.
• Ensures AV systems have current firmware/software and proper configurations.
• Supports Tier 2 hardware swaps as needed.
