Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC seeks a Technology Advisor/Site Lead to provide senior-level technical leadership, strategic guidance, and operational oversight for AFCENT A6 enterprise IT services across the USCENTCOM AOR. You will serve as a key advisor for network operations, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and mission network sustainment.

The role supports contingency and wartime operations, coordinating with DoD agencies, vendors, and partners to maintain 24/7 enterprise network readiness

Qualifications

• MS in a related field with 7+ years of IT experience (or 10+ years experience)
• Experience in IT operations/services management
• Networking, systems, and cybersecurity engineering experience
• LAN and WAN enterprise support
• Knowledge of what constitutes a threat to a network
• Skill in providing feedback to enhance future collection and analysis

Responsibilities

• Assist AFCENT A63 Director with goals, objectives and strategy for IT services across the enterprise.
• Provide management oversight and technical direction across NOSC areas for IT operations, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure appropriate O&M actions on mission networks for user effectiveness.
• Apply SDLC concepts in engineering activities.
• Coordinate planning and execution of network operations projects for contingency operations.
• Prepare briefings and status updates on IT subjects.
• Participate in strategic planning and provide recommendations.
