Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks a Deputy Program Manager to provide senior technical leadership and strategic guidance for AFCENT A6 enterprise IT services across USCENTCOM AOR.

This role advises on network operations, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and mission network sustainment, supporting contingency and wartime operations. Qualifications

• MS in related field with 7+ years of IT experience preferred; or 10+ years of IT experience.
• IT operations, services management training, and firewall experience.
• Network systems and cybersecurity engineering experience.
• LAN and WAN enterprise support experience.
• Knowledge of what constitutes a threat to a network.
• Ability to provide feedback to enhance future collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing goals, objectives, and implementation strategies for IT services across the enterprise.
• Provide management oversight, strategic guidance, and technical direction across IT operations, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure appropriate O&M actions on mission networks to maintain effectiveness.
• Apply SDLC concepts and principles in engineering activities.
• Assist with planning, directing, and executing AFCENT network operations projects for contingency and wartime operations.
• Coordinate technical visits from DoD activities, contractors, and vendors.
