Job summary

Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall is seeking an ARDMS-registered ultrasound technologist to perform general ultrasound examinations with a focus on high-quality patient care.

The role may require coverage for both Newburgh and Cornwall campuses and On-Call duties as outlined in the Radiology Policy and Procedure Guideline. Applicants should have ARDMS certification and at least one year of ultrasound experience, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Performs all required general ultrasound examinations assuring high quality patient care at all times. When needed, he/she is required to provide coverage for both Newburgh and/or Cornwall campuses of SLCH. Must be responsible for periodic On-Call duties and be available to respond within the timeframe outlined in the Radiology Policy and Procedure Guideline.

Qualifications

ARDMS registered sonographer. Required One-year experience as an ultrasound technologist Preferred Technologist must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Formal training in diagnostic ultrasound. Demonstrated competence in performing general ultrasound. A working understanding and knowledge of equipment and physics of ultrasound. ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required.
