Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall in Newburgh, NY seeks an experienced echocardiography technologist for per diem coverage.

You will perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, ensuring high-quality patient care and adhering to the Radiology Policy and Procedure guidelines. The role requires ARDMS/CCI registration, formal ultrasound training, and at least one year of echocardiography experience.

Position Summary: Performs all required echocardiography and Transesophageal echocardiography examinations at both campuses when necessary and assuring high quality patient care at all times. Responsibilities to include equipment evaluation, maintenance, procedure room set up, report, file, and tape preparation. Must be responsible for periodic On-Call duties and be available to respond within the timeframe outlined in the Radiology Policy and Procedure Guideline.

Education/Training: Technologist must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Formal training in diagnostic ultrasound. ARDMS/CCI registered sonographer.

Experience: One year experience as an echocardiography technologist required. A working understanding and knowledge of equipment and physics of ultrasound/echocardiography.
