UF Health in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist qualified to perform two or more imaging modalities including MRI, CT, diagnostic radiography, ultrasound, IR, radiation therapy, mammography or nuclear medicine. The role supports additional modalities on a routine basis and provides on-call coverage as needed, delivering patient-centered care.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Radiology program, and BLS certification.
Overview: The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified/credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities as needed by the modality. Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Specific course work: Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
Preferred Education: Associate‘s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Necessary Skills:
Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS.
Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.
