UF Health Hastings is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist who is qualified to perform at least two imaging procedures such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, IR, radiography, or nuclear medicine. The role requires on-call coverage for these modalities and a commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards.
Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline, with BLS, and licensure through ARRT or equivalent. Associate degree is preferred.
Overview: The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified/credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities as needed by the modality. Strives to provide patient centered care. Upholds the standard of practice of a registered technologist. #ACDP
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Specific course work: Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
Preferred Education: Associate‘s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Necessary Skills:
Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS.
Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.
