• Salary: From $38 an hour
• Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Department: Seton Imaging-Outpatient

Schedule: To discuss during interview: Operating hours; 7:00am-7:00pm, Monday-Friday and 8:00am-1:00pm, Saturday. No on-call and will cover one Saturday a month.

Responsibilities

1. Operate a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat pathologies.
2. Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
3. Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to examinations.
4. Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop films, ensuring quality and safety.
5. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
6. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
7. Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions.
8. Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted). ARRT credential in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and General Radiography, with state licensure in MD or WI.
• Education: High school diploma with 2 years of experience, or an associate/technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.
