Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI procedures, manage patient care, and collaborate with radiologists and staff. You will ensure quality control, maintain schedules, and support daily operations to uphold our patient‑focused care culture.

The role involves handling medications within license scope, starting IVs, and contributing to efficient department functioning. Experience in MRI and relevant certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program (or equivalent).
  • MRI Technologist Training Program coursework completed.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification or eligible.
  • National Registered Technologist - MRI or National Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT.
  • Hospital experience in an MRI setting preferred.
  • Approximately 2 years sub-specialty MRI experience.

Job description

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day‑to‑day schedules, assisting radiologist, handling medication within scope of license, starting IV's and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Education and Training
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program, Or
  • Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Or
  • National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
  • Hospital experience.
  • ~2 years of Sub-specialty MRI.
