Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI procedures, set up, scan and film, and communicate with radiologists and other clinicians. The role includes quality control, scheduling, IV starts, and on-call coverage to ensure continuity of patient care.
The ideal candidate has an MRI training background and appropriate licensure, with a commitment to patient-centered care and safety in a busy imaging department.
This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, assisting radiologist, handling medication within scope of license, starting IV's and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Is Responsible for taking call.
