Job summary

Providence is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and filming, at Providence Centralia Hospital.

Qualifications

• Formal education and credentials in radiologic/mri technology.
• Certification as MRI technologist or ARRT equivalent.
• Hospital MRI experience preferred.

Job description

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, assisting radiologist, handling medication within scope of license, starting IV's and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program, Or
• Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program
• Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Or
• National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
• Hospital experience.
• ~2 years of Sub-specialty MRI.
