Job summary

Providence is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join Centralia Hospital in Washington. The role covers performing MRI procedures, including setup, scanning and filming, while collaborating with radiologists, physicians and patients to ensure high-quality care.

The successful candidate will handle quality control, daily scheduling, IV starts within license scope, and on-call duties to support continuous patient care and department efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technologist training required.
• MRI technologist training program coursework required upon hire.

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Registered MRI Technologist certification required upon hire.

Description

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, assisting radiologist, handling medication within scope of license, starting IV's and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Is Responsible for taking call.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program, Or
• Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Or
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience.
• 2 years of Sub-specialty MRI.

Pay Range: $46.60 - $77.09
