Job description

We Are Hiring
  • Department: Outpatient
  • Schedule: 8 hours day shift. The facility opens Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday 7:00am-5:30pm, and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm. Except the last Saturday of the month, hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
  • Facility: Ascension St. Agnes
  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000.00
  • Salary: $37.49 - $52.25 per hour

Certification in Mammo, along with CT or MRI

You will have a set schedule

What You Will Do

Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illnesses and injuries.

  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medication within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Help position patients and select parameters accurately.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct markers, patient data).
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer. AHA or ARC accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • ARRT credential in Radiography obtained prior to hire. State licensure in Maryland required.
    • ARDMS credential or CCI certification for Medical Sonographer obtained prior to hire.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.
