Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a skilled professional in New York to collaborate with our technology experts on developing and commercializing materials and purification technologies for electronics and advanced materials markets. You will design and fabricate complex systems to support development projects and ensure uninterrupted lab service.

You will procure lab materials, operate test systems, collect data, and communicate results, while engaging in technical collaborations to meet project timelines

Qualifications

  • AAS degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in operations, R&D, or engineering support.
  • Experience in fabrication, operation and repair of high purity gas handling equipment (vacuum pumps, compressors, scrubbers).
  • Experience handling chemicals (compressed gases, flammable liquids, corrosive and toxic materials).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for communication, data processing, and report generation.
  • Experience with highly hazardous gases preferred.
  • Training or certification in orbital or other arc welding techniques preferred.
  • Skills in electrical signal and control wiring of electrical and electronic systems preferred.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD design software preferred.
  • Experience with handling, purification, and analysis of ultra-high purity (UHP) gases preferred.
  • Operation of GC-MS, GC-TCD, FTIR, MS, UV-Vis, or other analytical instruments preferred.

Job description
