Job Description: MSK’s Laboratory Medicine department has moved to a new, innovative facility on East 64th Street. This move enhances operational efficiency, speeds up test results, and reduces blood sample requirements. Our department utilizes advanced technology and automation to deliver faster, more efficient results, emphasizing applied and translational research. We support the growth of our team members and encourage collaboration across disciplines.

We are seeking an experienced Lab Technologist II in our Cellular Therapy Department.

Role Overview:

• Perform processing of Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell products using aseptic techniques with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date records/logs/files.
• Ensure test accuracy by following SOPs and perform routine and advanced equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked laboratory environment.
• Manage reagent and supply inventories.
• Ensure compliance with NYS DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA, FACT, AABB, and CLIA regulations.
• Provide training and feedback to colleagues on routine procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
• Previous experience in Cell Therapy
