Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Florida is seeking a Histotechnologist to perform complex tissue processing and staining with accuracy and efficiency. You will relate to internal and external customers and use laboratory information systems.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of histotechnologist experience, a relevant degree, and Florida state licensure as Technologist or Supervisor. A Bachelor's degree is required to assess competency.

Job description

Complexity of Work: Intermediate knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Intermediate knowledge of laboratory information systems. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
