Job summary

Kettering Health Miamisburg is seeking a Technologist Assistant to support the interdisciplinary team and provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.

You will perform delegated technologist care tasks and safely escort patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas, ensuring proper identification and gathering of information while maintaining confidentiality. This role supports high-quality care at KH Miamisburg.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Technologist Assistant serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.
• The tech assistant will perform technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist, as well as escorts/transports patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned.
• Correctly identifies patients, recognizes their limitations and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
