UF Health seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist qualified to perform radiology procedures across at least two modalities. The role requires on-call coverage and ongoing competency maintenance in radiology.
The candidate should be able to communicate clearly with patients and operate imaging equipment safely. Ideal is a graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline with a high school diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
Overview: The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified/credentialled to perform at a minimum of two (2) MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. This position must support the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and must be able to provide on call coverage for these modalities as needed by the modality. Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Specific course work: Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
Preferred Education: Associate‘s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Necessary Skills:
Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS.
Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.
