Job summary

Wood seeks a Techno-Functional Specialist to bridge business needs with technical solutions across enterprise systems. You will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs, and guide design, testing, and deployment with IT and vendors.

The role emphasizes data integrity, APIs, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years in techno-functional or similar roles, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with ERP/CRM/HRIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–7+ years’ experience in a techno-functional, business analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise systems.
• Experience with system implementations and integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRIS, or similar enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements
• Support business process mapping and optimization initiatives
• Design and implement system configurations and enhancements
• Partner with development teams to build, test, and deploy solutions
• Provide technical expertise in system integrations, APIs, and data flows
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement timely resolutions
• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams
• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and enhancements
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
• Manage change requests, upgrades, and releases
• Communicate effectively with business users, developers, and leadership
• Provide training and documentation to end-users
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Analyze data to support business decision-making
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
