Job description

SRE Engineer – Raleigh, North Carolina

Responsibilities

• Experience deploying production cloud networking and infrastructure solutions while adhering to industry-standard DevOps principles.
• Experience handling SaaS and/or on‑prem applications for a large customer base.
• ServiceNow Experience, working with the vulnerability response module, ticket triage, building dashboards.
• Experience with one or more of the public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools: Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Ability to mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction, perform design/code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of Linux and bash scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation or other).
• Experience with Splunk deployment, configuration, operations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing Splunk dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including geographical location and applicable wage obligations.
