Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automotive transmissions and driveline components.
• Perform accurate mechanical and electronic diagnostics.
• Identify transmission-related concerns and determine appropriate repairs.
• Perform transmission removals and installations.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and service information.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other technicians.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.

Zimmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for an experienced and motivated Transmission Technician to join our growing Service Department.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automotive transmissions and driveline components
• Perform accurate mechanical and electronic diagnostics

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Transmission Technician or Automotive Technician with strong transmission experience
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to accurately diagnose complex transmission concerns
• Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram experience is a plus
• OEM certifications or ASE certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
