Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose, CA seeks a Production Engineering Specialist to join the engineering team, testing and troubleshooting microwave hardware. You will develop test specifications, modify diagrams and procedures, and prepare technical reports with recommended solutions, supporting career growth toward design or product roles.

You will work on set-up and calibration of an automated test station, with day shifts Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person status under export laws required.

Job description

The Production Engineering Specialist position will work with the engineering staff to test and troubleshooting hardware. They may develop test specifications, methods and modify diagrams, procedures and rework instructions on hardware. They may also prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommend solutions to technical problems. This hands-on work will provide valuable experience for a future design engineer, product engineer or program manager.

Responsibilities

Work with production staff to perform and document testing of microwave hardware

Perform and document tuning and test results on multi-function thin film microwave integrated circuits (MICs)

Work closely with manufacturing engineers, as part of a product team, providing feedback on modules and subsystem products

Perform set-up and calibration of the automated test station

Day shift Mon- Fri

Pay Transparency

The hourly pay range for this position is $34.25 – $42.85. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
