Technician - Solar Operations & Maintenance

Join us as a Technician - Solar Operations & Maintenance at Boralex Inc.

Position Overview

This is a temporary (6 months) role with the potential to become permanent. The base pay range is $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr, based on skills and experience. Boralex has over 30 years of experience in renewable energy, operating assets with over 3 GW capacity and developing a 6.8 GW project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments and monitor receipt of goods
• Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, and mulching
• Maintain site equipment and prevent soil erosion
• Guide suppliers on site and ensure health and safety compliance
• Plan and execute civil corrective work
• Participate in problem-solving and propose solutions

Qualifications

• At least 2 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Experience operating zero-turn mowers, tractors, and UTVs
• Herbicide application experience
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and mobility for site activities
• Excellent communication skills
