Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a purchasing/maintenance support technician to provide exceptional service to hospital departments and external vendors. You will process equipment returns for credits, replacements or repairs and manage rentals while maintaining accurate data records.

Preferred applicants have a high school diploma and may benefit from prior hospital supply or materials management exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to user departments and vendors.
• Ensure accurate processing of equipment returns related to crediting, replacement and/or repairs.
• Handle equipment rentals efficiently.
• Maintain data records associated with above responsibilities.
• Provide support and feedback to Directors in line with TMH's mission and values.

Your Role:

• The technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to user departments and vendors.
• They ensure accurate processing of equipment returns related to crediting, replacement and/or repairs.
• They are responsible for the efficient handling of equipment rentals.
• They maintain the necessary data records associated with the above responsibilities.
• They also provide support and feedback to the Directors in keeping with the mission and values of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Reports To:Director/Purchasing (JC: 027301).
