What you'll do...

Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing your skills with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to document repair activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training requirements
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work on ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage ($23.00-$45.00), based on experience and location
• Eligible for bonus incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and at least 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related fields for commercial HVAC/R, or 4 years experience in related fields. EPA Type I/II certification required.

Preferred Qualifications...

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the job location.
