IU Health West Hospital is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance professional to support the powerhouse operations. The role involves operating and maintaining electro/mechanical systems, boilers, generators, and related equipment to ensure reliable utility services across the facility.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) is required.
Full Time Evening Shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm), (1 weekend required every three weeks)

Facilities and Maintenance
Operates, repairs, documents and performs preventive maintenance needs of the powerhouse electro/mechanical systems within the facility. Operates stationary engines and mechanical equipment, which may would Building management system (BMS), steam boilers, generators, AHU's, water softeners and other auxiliary equipment to provide utility services. Observes meters and gauges to determine operating conditions of equipment and to regulate flow of water, fuel, steam pressure and oxygen in accordance with needs and safety standards, also performs other related duties as assigned.
Power Engineering Certification is preferred.
3 months - Learning where the equipment and departments are located.
6 months - Able to work weekends independently.
12 months - Able to handle emerging situations with very little assistance needed.
