Ziegler CAT in Des Moines, IA is seeking a full-time Power Generation Repair Technician to service Caterpillar generators and other brands. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, generators, and electrical systems, while documenting work orders and staying compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field, or HS diploma/GED with 2 years of shop experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel engine/equipment repair experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electricity, electronics, diagnostics, and transfer switches is helpful.
• Ability to write and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.
