Job summary

LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air in Charleston is seeking a Technician Plumbing Install Lead with 5+ years of installation experience to manage projects from start to finish. You will ensure code compliance on residential and light commercial systems and mentor apprentices.

You will read blueprints, supervise installs, perform rough-ins and finish work, and collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and trades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing installation experience, including 2+ years in lead roles.
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Journeyman or Master Plumbing License as required by local jurisdiction.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring code compliance.
• Install and test water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems.
• Perform rough-in and finish work for new construction and remodels.
• Read specs and plan work; coordinate with project managers and inspectors.

Technician Plumbing Install Lead (2025-1166)

What You Bring

• 5+ years of plumbing installation experience, including 2+ years in a lead or foreman role. - In-depth knowledge of residential and light commercial plumbing systems. - Strong understanding of plumbing codes, system layouts, and installation best practices. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. - Journeyman or Master Plumbing License (as required by local jurisdiction). - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to train and mentor team members effectively. - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee plumbing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance. - Install, assemble, and test water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems. - Perform rough-in and finish plumbing for new construction, remodels, and replacements. - Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to plan and execute work. - Direct and mentor apprentices and install helpers to ensure proper training and adherence to company standards. - Conduct quality checks and pressure tests to confirm system integrity and functionality. - Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other trades to coordinate job progress. - Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times. - Document completed work, materials used, and system specifications accurately. - Ensure all safety, environmental, and company procedures are followed on every job site.
