Job summary

LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air, part of TurnPoint Services, invites eager individuals to begin an apprenticeship in electrical install. Under a licensed journeyman, you’ll gain hands-on paid experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems while building the foundation to become an expert.

This role emphasizes customer education, product recommendations, and a clear growth path into skilled trades. Ideal candidates are curious, hardworking, and committed to learning in a supportive team

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages.
  • Good problem-solving and reasoning abilities to troubleshoot.
  • Comfort with computers, data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

  • Attend apprenticeship classes and pass classroom and hands-on assessments.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems under supervision, gaining on-the-job experience.
  • Educate customers on products, repairs, and services to enhance electrical systems.

Apprentice Electrical Install (2025-1029)

Role Overview

  • Are you eager to learn, grow, and build a career in the electrical trade? Under the guidance of a licensed journeyman, you’ll gain hands‑on paid experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems while developing the skills to become a true expert in the field.
  • In this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to educate and assist customers, helping them select products and services that improve and enhance their electrical systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is curious, hardworking, and passionate about learning, with a clear path to grow their expertise and advance in a rewarding trade.
What You Bring
  • You bring strong communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and explain concepts clearly to customers and team members.
  • You have solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and the ability to interpret bar graphs.
  • Your excellent problem‑solving and reasoning abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot issues, make sound decisions, helps to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • You are comfortable using computers and technology, including data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
  • Physical stamina and adaptability, able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and safely climb ladders or scaffolding.
  • You have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn from experienced journeymen while growing your skills in the electrical trade.
Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship classes, achieving passing grades in both classroom and hands‑on training assessments.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair or replace electrical systems under the guidance of a licensed journeyman, gaining practical, on‑the‑job experience.
  • Educate and assist customers in selecting products, repairs, and services to enhance their electrical systems, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Follow established scripts and procedures to ensure a consistent, professional experience for every customer.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge daily, building a strong foundation for a long‑term career in the electrical trade.
