Job summary

UIC Municipal Services LLC is seeking Roving Service Barrel Technicians to maintain and repair residential service barrels and exterior plumbing in Arctic conditions for North Slope Villages. This rotational role involves supporting water and sewer operations and working extended hours in challenging environments.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, safety-conscious, and experienced in water/wastewater systems or plumbing maintenance, with the ability to read schematics and work independently at

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• ADEC Water Certification Level 1-2.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; perform physically demanding tasks in Arctic conditions.
• Rotational schedule with extended hours.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and charts.
• Work independently at remote sites.

UIC Municipal Services LLC is seeking Roving Service Barrel Technicians to maintain and repair residential service barrels and exterior plumbing in Arctic conditions for North Slope Villages. This rotational role involves supporting water and sewer operations, working extended hours in challenging environments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates are adaptable, safety-conscious, and experienced in water/wastewater systems or plumbing maintenance.

What You’ll Need

• Provisional or Level 1-2 ADEC Water Certification

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
