Job summary

UIC Municipal Services LLC is seeking Utility Systems Specialists to support water and wastewater operations across North Slope villages in Alaska. These specialists rotate between remote communities to maintain municipal utility systems and ensure regulatory compliance in Arctic conditions.

Candidates should hold Level II Water and Wastewater Operator Certificates (or obtain within 12 months), a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass respirator tests and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Level II Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificates (or ability to obtain within 12 months, State of Alaska).
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, crawl, kneel, stoop, lift/carry up to 50lbs, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfort working in extreme arctic weather and remote locations.

Utility Systems Specialists - North Slope Villages - 23/19 Per Diem + Housing + FIFO - North Slope, AK

UIC Municipal Services LLC is seeking Utility Systems Specialists to support water and wastewater operations across North Slope villages in Alaska. These specialists will rotate between remote communities, ensuring the maintenance and regulatory compliance of municipal utility systems in challenging arctic conditions. The ideal candidates are experienced in water/wastewater treatment, adaptable to extreme environments, and capable of both hands-on work and leadership.
