Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Hospital At Home program. You will draw blood, take vital signs, report abnormal findings, and support the nursing team to Put Patients First.

The role includes assisting with meals, linen changes, room tidying, and environmental care. On-site position with weekend and holiday shifts; the schedule is Day shift (8:00am–3:30pm) with three shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as Nurse's Aide or equivalent.
• High school diploma required.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood and take vital signs.
• Report abnormal findings to the nursing team.
• Prepare patients for meals and assist as necessary.
• Provide routine environmental care (linen changes, surface cleaning, room tidying).
• Collaborate with nurses to Put Patients First.
