Job summary

GFL Environmental Services is seeking skilled industrial shop labor to perform high-pressure water blasting, sandblasting, and plasma cutting. This full-time role includes a benefits package and two shift openings.

Team-oriented environment and strong safety practices are emphasized. We offer a 3-week PTO, multiple medical plans with an HSA, 401(k) with employer match, boot reimbursement, paid holidays, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Experience working around heavy equipment.
• High pressure water blasting and sandblasting experience.
• Pre-employment drug and criminal background screening required.
• Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• High-pressure water blasting and sandblasting.
• Carbon arc, plasma cutting.
• Must properly wear, use, and maintain PPE; uniforms provided.
• Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Physical activity including standing, walking, crouching, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsible for safely and efficiently completing tasks and duties associated with industrial shop labor such as high-pressure water blasting, sandblasting and plasma cutting. First and Second shift positions open.
Full time permanent position with full benefits package.

• High-pressure water blasting and sandblasting

• Requires the ability to properly wear, use, and maintain personal protective equipment. Uniforms and all PPE provided.

• Monitor job site for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

• May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hand tools, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by site superintendent, or management.

Qualifications:
