Job summary

VAA LLC is seeking a Technician to join our team. The role is on-site/hybrid and works with designers and engineers to provide drawing preparation and drafting support for projects from concept through construction documents.

Responsibilities include setting up plans and details to CAD standards, identifying and correcting redlines, coordinating plotter maintenance, and occasional travel to construction sites. Starting hourly range is $22.00–$29.00 with a comprehensive benefits package.

• Certificate or 1 year of directly related experience.
• Experience with CAD/drafting processes and standards.

Technician (On-site/hybrid)

The Technician works with designers and engineers to provide drawing preparation and drafting support for a variety of projects from concept phase through construction documents.

• Set up plans, sections and details to specified CAD standards under the direction of others.
• Identify redlines on drawings created by others and accurately make required changes.
• Enhance design skills to support the advancement of technical expertise.
• Coordinate plotter maintenance and project archiving as requested.
• May require occasional travel to construction job sites.

Your resume must include

• Certificate in construction related design/drafting or higher.
• OR at least 1 year of directly related experience.

Starting Hourly Range: $22.00 - $29.00. A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.
