TEAM, Inc. seeks a certified and safety-driven NDT/NDE Technician to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection services at various client sites and field locations
Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and safety-driven NDT/NDE Technician to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection services at various client sites and field locations. The technician will carry out inspections using certified NDT methods, accurately interpret and document results, maintain compliance with applicable codes and client specifications, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. The role also involves supervising support personnel, coordinating with clients and project teams, and working in diverse industrial environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and accurately document inspection results using appropriate reporting forms, digital systems, or reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding project scope, site access, and inspection results.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including inspection reports, timesheets, and safety documentation.
  • Follow proper radiation safety practices, including the use of dosimetry and area barricading where applicable.
  • Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
  • Uphold industry standards and TEAM’s commitment to professionalism, integrity, and quality.
  • Travel to client locations and work extended hours, weekends, or alternative schedules as required.
  • Work safely in confined spaces, elevated work areas, outdoor environments, and varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to provide relevant documentation supporting one or more TEAM Level II qualifications/certifications in accordance with TEAM’s written practice and certification requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work in demanding field environments.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple Level II NDT certifications or equivalent ASNT, PCN, or CGSB certifications.
  • API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, or other advanced certifications.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP certification, or State Industrial Radiographer Card (where applicable).
  • Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data management software.
  • Previous experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.
Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
  • Ability to work around production machinery, high noise levels, and changing environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to travel out of town as required.
  • Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules when necessary.
  • Sufficient mobility, manual dexterity, communication abilities, and physical capability to perform inspection duties safely.
