Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks a certified NDT/NDE Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspections at client sites and field locations.

You will use RT, MT, PT, UT, and VT methods to ensure accurate results, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction while upholding TEAM's safety and quality standards. The role involves calibration and operation of NDT equipment, supervision of assistants, and coordination with project managers.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • ASNT Level II or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform non-destructive testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results using approved forms, digital systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment and related inspection tools.
  • Coordinate inspection activities with project managers and clients regarding work scope, site access, and inspection results.
  • Maintain accurate reports, timesheets, and safety documentation.
  • Ensure proper radiation safety practices, including dosimetry and area barricading where applicable.
  • Follow TEAM's Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety requirements.
  • Uphold industry codes and TEAM's standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality.

Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and safety-driven NDT/NDE Technician to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection services at various client sites and field locations. The technician is responsible for conducting inspections using one or more certified NDT methods, including Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Visual Testing (VT). The role ensures accurate inspection results, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and adherence to TEAM's safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting asset integrity across industrial sectors.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Certifications:

  • Ability to provide documentation supporting one or more TEAM Level II qualifications/certifications in accordance with TEAM's written practice and certification schema.
  • Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT, PCN, or CGSB equivalent certifications preferred.
  • API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, or other advanced certifications preferred.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP, or State Industrial Radiographer Card preferred where applicable.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications preferred.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software preferred.
  • Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate inspection results with peers, supervisors, and clients.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to travel, work extended hours, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated work areas, outdoor environments, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to access elevated platforms using ladders and stairwells.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus, multitask, and work safely in industrial environments with production machinery and high noise levels.
