Job Description

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will also oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform work as outlined on the repair order.
2. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs.
3. Examine the vehicle to determine if additional service work is necessary.
4. Document work performed.
5. Compensate for supervising any apprentice technicians.
6. Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
7. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
8. Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
9. Obtain ASE or manufacturing training.
10. High school diploma or the equivalent.
11. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
12. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
13. Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
14. All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, and drug tests.
