We are seeking a 2nd shift HVAC/R technician to contribute to our growth and continued innovation. **AS AN HVAC/R MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:**·Follow engineering laboratory test instructions to perform tests on variable-speed compressors·Set up and install compressors and support compressor electronics for test purposes·Operate laboratory test equipment, including calorimeters, mass flow stands, data acquisition systems, and other measuring equipment used to acquire compressor performance characteristics·Setup and operate variable-speed drives for testing purposes·Fabricate supporting test fixtures and controls required for non-standard tests·Review test data for compliance with applicable test data standards·Perform various tasks related to the upkeep of the lab·You will be responsible for completing required tests and communicating test results with engineers. You will provide input on optimizing work processes to improve the overall efficiency of the lab**SCHEDULE** This position is on the second shift and consists of five eight-hour workdays Monday through Friday and is eligible for voluntary overtime.
