Copeland in Sidney, OH is seeking an HVAC/R Mechanical Technician for the third shift to support test labs and compressor development.

You will set up and install compressors, operate test equipment, review data, and help maintain lab facilities while collaborating with engineering teams.

We are seeking a first shift HVAC/R technician to contribute to our growth and continued innovation. **AS AN HVAC/R MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:**·Follow engineering laboratory test instructions to performance test variable speed compressors·Set up and install compressors and support compressor electronics for test purposes·Operate laboratory test equipment including calorimeters, mass flow stands, data acquisition systems, and other measuring equipment used to acquire compressor performance characteristics·Setup and operate variable speed drives for testing purposes·Fabricate supporting test fixtures and controls required for non-standard tests·Review test data for compliance with applicable test data standards·Perform various tasks related to the upkeep of the lab **SCHEDULE:**This position is on the third shift and would consist of five eight-hour workdays starting Sunday night through Friday morning and would be eligible for voluntary overtime.
