Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the Agnew site to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Fixed Plant infrastructure. You will ensure maintenance targets are met, manage orders, requisitions and labour records, and maintain clean, safe workshop practices.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Trade Qualification with fixed plant experience, plus licenses and tickets (CN crane, dogging, rigger, EWP, forklift) and safety tickets (Confined Space, Working at

Qualifications

• Fixed Plant maintenance experience in a processing plant.
• Mechanical trade qualification is required.
• Understanding of machinery and fixed plant care.
• WA C Manual Driver’s License and crane/dogging/rigger/EWP/forklift tickets.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets.

Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted maintenance targets by practising preventative maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of task instructions and procedures.
• Process maintenance orders, requisition parts and record labour hire.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in maintenance workshops and work areas.

Job description

Role Details:

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisorat Agnew, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the Fixed Plant infrastructure, facilities and other areas of operation.

About the role:

• Ensuring the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by practising preventative maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures
• Completing all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders and recording of labour hire.
• Maintaining a high standard of house keeping throughout the maintenance workshops and wherever maintenance work is carried out.
