Job summary

REV Group is seeking a Plumber to join Spartan Emergency Response operations in Brandon, SD. You will cut, bend, join and install pipes, read drawings, and use hand and power tools to ensure leak-free systems. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of plumbing experience are preferred; drug and background screening is required.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 1–2 years of plumbing experience.
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine.
  • Bend pipes to the required angle using a bending machine or by hand.
  • Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, solvent and caulk joints.
  • Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings and pipes.
  • Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check leaks.

What a day in the life of a Plumber at REV looks like:
